Disturbia

First things first. Don't take nyquil,
What kind of ingredient is classified as a hypnotic? My face still feels about 30 miles away from me right now and I took the crap last night. WTF.

Oh Disturbia, yes the title of this blog.
I thought it a good time to watch a freaky sort of movie seeing how Halloween is just a week away. Shia LaBeouf, from Transformers and soon the New Indiana Jones Movie, plays a kid who has a bit of a run in with the law. He is sentenced to 3 months, the length of his summer vacation, house arrest. Kale, Shia's character, soon learns that house arrest means a grand sum of boredom. His mum takes away his Xbox live, cuts the cord on his tele, and cancels his Itunes account. Kale then resorts to watching the neighbours. He is joined by his best friend Ronnie, Aaron Yoo, and his new neighbour Ashley, Sarah Roemer. Kale's suspicion grows as one of his neighbours' actions become a bit queer. Could the neighbour be a serial killer or perhaps Kale's homeward incarceration has him going nutty.
Loved the flick.

Tetris Splash

Looking for a new addiction? Try Tetris splash. This game is the same ole tetris you've grow to love, with a few new additions. There's some groovy music in the background, a sexy voice telling you when you've made a single, double, triple, and the wonderful tetris. The game is called Tetris Splash for the reason that you may use your new tetris game as a fish tank screen saver. For a few extra Microsoft points you may even add new fish in your tank. Unlocking achievements also gives you new fish.
Do enjoy the latest addition to the tetris family.
Cheers

The Holiday

Watched this movie last night. I really did think it was brilliant. I don't often like viewing movies of this sort as they are quite predictable. Classic tale of women who aren't loved by their men. Cameron Diaz plays a movie trailer maker whose boyfriend has recently cheated on her. She dumps him, then searches the internet for a place to run away to. Finding a house swap site, she meets Iris (Kate Winslet), who is from a small village in England. Having grand man problems of her own Iris agrees to swap houses. Both characters grow in their new homes. Throw in some Jack Black and some Jude Law, the movie becomes rather charming.
I suggest it.
This write up was arse.

On a rather interesting side note. Arthur, who is the old man in the movie that Winslet Befriends, played Mr. Freeze on the Original Batman series Duo Defy and Ice spy 1967
Cheers
yeah so what I'm an old show geek.

Nancy Drew

Now I feel rather guilty as a grown man admitting that I enjoyed this movie, but let's face it, I am pretty hard to displease. The movie is based on the famous mystery stories by Mildred Wirt Benson, well she wrote 23 of the 30 original stories. Nancy and her father are off to California as her father has some work to do there. Nancy promises to not sleuth while they are in their new home, little does her dad know that the home is Nancy's new mystery. The story is pretty simple, the characters are charming and it all ends up good in the end.
There I did my review of Nancy Drew.

Call of Duty 4

This game is brilliant. I only stopped playing it due to the ending of the beta. Weapon selections, level requirements, and realism make this game bloody amazing. Most FPS' feel less fluid, not as realistic as they could be. Here you dress for success, and shoot to kill. I should be at the Gamestop event on Wed the 17 of oct in San Fran. Come on by.
Cheers
