Forbidden Kingdom

I really do enjoy a good kunfu movie, or in this case a Gungfu movie. For the first time they pair two legends, Jackie Chan and Jet li in the same movie. What could be better is that it is a Monkey King story line. I I I I really did like this movie. I thought it funny that they cast Will Stronghold (sky high character) as the legend, but it was a good fit. Jackie Chan plays the drunken immortal who finds Jason (the seeker or Mr. Stronghold) and attempts to guide him to the monkey king to return his staff of power. Along the way they meet a simple monk who is on the same path as Jackie and jason. Loads of great fight scenes, a proper storyline, and some right down feel good moments make this kunggungfu movie grand.

Breach

Good movie, Freaks me out to be in the field. I'm glad i'd never do anything bad ever against my fav uncle.
Cheers for now.
check out the movie. At times I really felt on edge.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

From the makers of superbad, comes this very funny movie full of far too many cock shots. If you feel like a good laugh, and need a break from Van Wilder, Grandma's boy, Bubba Ho-Tep, then give this one a shot. I laughed my arse off at the theatre, though em dropped the rum bottles at the end it was still great. Kristen Bell is an evil tv show star who dumps her boyfriend for an Odd London rock star. He's heartbroken and to forget his girlfriend he takes a trip to Hawaii. He soon finds that his ex is already there.
Fun love.

Maltese Falcon

Let's find the origin of Sam Spade. Mr. Bogart is so flipping damn cool in this flick. He's got a line and a grin for every situation. He disarms nearly everyone every single time a gun is pointed at him. I love the way he played the character. This is an absolute must see. Humphrey Bogart plays Sam Spade, a partnered Private eye whose partner is killed after taking a case. The story unfolds and everyone is tied together. Don't read my bit, just go watch it.

The Shop Around The Corner

I wonder why everyone in this movie, save a couple mind you, were American. I do like this movie, I find it much better than the You've got mail remake in the 90's. If you haven't seen this James Stewart movie give it a watch.

Run fatboy run

From the makers of Hot Fuzz, and Shawn of the dead, comes Run Fatboy Run.
A rather sweet story compared to the previous movies we have seen from this company. This is more of a romantic comedy, without a whole load of the comedy and the romance. Dennis, played by Simon Pegg, leaves his pregnant fiance at the altar. He realizes his mistake some years later when he finds the mum of his kid is dating some health nut (played by Hank Azaria). He professes his love, tells his girl he can change, then enters himself in the same marathon the boyfriend is in. You'll have to watch the rest.

Chicken pox, not a malady of France

Perhaps the malady of South African students who are confined to their rooms for a week. I felt bad for Jason as he had to miss out on all the fun days of program. I know that all he wanted was to find an American mall and purchase an Iphone. Too bad for him that the Iphones weren't in supply and they wouldn't have been unlocked for him. We got him cleared with a Doctor at a nice quaint hospital. I knew this hospital well as I had spent a couple nights there with the ear ache lad. He's safe in SA and I am still disease free. Ever notice how when you're in close proximity to someone who has something wrong that you start to feel as though you have it? I'm not a hypochondriac, but I felt a wee bit itchy in such cramped quarters with him. Good lad though, hope he had a safe trip.

Chicken Pox

You'd be surprised how boring the chicken pox actually is. The student is not so keen on just playing one game at a time. I can understand his as he's been locked up in his room forever. I have been in there since six this morning and crikey me I'm feeling a bit of the cabin fever. Updates to follow.
